LONDON, Saturday. 4n Egyptian politician, Wissa Bey Wassif. called at the office of the "Morning Post’’ and repudiated the charges made in Cairo against the exPrime Minister, Nahas Paslia, Gaafar Bey Fakhri and himself in connection with Prince Ahmed Seif ed Din. He said the contract referred to in the charges was made 16 months ago, when nobody could have torseen the nomination of Nahas as Prime Minister. Moreover Nahas withdrew from participation in the lawsuit when he became Prime Minister.

A message from Cairo on June 24 stated: A sensation has been caused by the Publication of a document alleged to have been signed in February, 1927, by Nahas Pasha, in his capacity as a lawyer and the legal agent of Prince Ahmed Seif ed Dir, who escaped from a private mental hospital in Sussex in 1925 According to this document Nahas and two of his pc li tical associates were to receive -- 1 ..c.OOO it they were successful m securing the nrminipnt of the interdictment in favou? of the Prince. It is recalled that the Prince was sentenced to imprisonment for Jhooting the present King, Fuad, in 1893. iubseauently he was declared to be insane and was mysteriously taken to England, from which country he escaped in August. 1325*
