CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP
AUCKLAND V. WELLINGTON TELEGRAPHIC MATCH On Saturday evening the telegraphic match between Auckland and Wellington for the Inter-club chess championship of New Zealand was taken another stage. At the finish of play the completed games at the first 12 boards which count for the championship resulted l* three wins for Wellington and two for Auckland. Two games were drawn and the remaining seven were referred to adjudication. Of the remaining eight boards, two were won by Wellington and the other six were sent for adjudication.
