KELLS BACK TO FORM The four-mile steeplechase held by the Auckland Amateur Athletic Club in the Domain on Saturday afternoon was won by G. Kells, who made an excellent recovery of form. The following were the results: Four-mile Steeplechase.—G. Kells (6 sec) 1, J. W. Savidan (scr) 2, A. Brown (65sec) 3. Time, 24min 1 sec. 75 Yards Handicap.—A. Clarke (15yds) 1, X. Nilsen (6£yds) 2, W. Wyatt (9£yds) 3. Time, 7 4-ssec. Putting the Shot.—A. Clarke 1, W. Watt 2, .T. Turnbull 3. Distance, 31ft 3£in. Throwing the Discus.—J. Turnbull 1, X. Nilsen 2, R. G. Kirkwood 3. Distance. 104 ft 9in.
