NOTES Mrs. B. Frostick, of Christchurch, is spending - a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. G. Leighton has returned to i Wellington from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Charles Smith, of Park Road, Grafton, has left for a visit to Nelson. Mrs. Roy Burrett returned to town yesterday after a holiday in Cambridge. Mrs. G. W. Hean and Miss Ttean are visitors to Auckland from Wanganui. Mrs. Laidlaw, who has been visiting the South, returned to Auckland today. Among those at the Central Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Giesen, of Rotorua. Mr. and Mrs. F. Hodgson, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Hill, of Hastings, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Stewart, and Miss Marjorie Stewart, of Auckland, returned to-day by the Niagara from Sydney. * * * Mrs. Colin Simmers, of Epsom, who has been in Sydney for some months, returned to Auckland to-day by the Niagara. Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Webb, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Gall, of Kaukapakapa, are staying at the Star Hotel. * * * Miss Win Averill, who has been visiting Wellington and Christchurch, returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning. * * * Mrs. Rosa Dickenson, of Edendale Road, Mount Eden, returned to Auckland to-day, after spending a holiday in Sydney. Mr. W. Burton, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning, and is staying with Mrs. Crosher, of Takapuna. * # * Mrs. Sydney Myer, of Melbourne, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Niagara from Sydney, and is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Miss Lilian Paterson, of Remuera, who has been visiting friends in Christchurch and Timaru, is at present staying in Wellington. Miss E. Whitelaw, of Arney Road, Remuera, has returned from a visit to Paraparaumu, where she was the guest of Mrs. Gordon Hadfield. * * * Miss Muriel Bollard, d& ugh ter of the late Hon. R. F. Bollard, is leaving Wellington shortly for Honolulu to visit Dr. and Mrs. Peter Buck. * * * Mr. and Mrs. W. Northam, of Roseville, Sydney, who are on their way to Suva, accompanied by their daughter, arrived in Auckland to-day by the Niagara. Mr. and Mrs. A. Ohlsen, of Sydney, arrived in Auckland to-day by the Niagara. They will spend a holiday in New Zealand. Mr. Ohlsen is on the Australian staff of the Pacific Cable Board. * * * Guests at the Hotel Cargen include Mr. and Mrs. ,7. M.xriott, of Sydney, Mr. and Mrs. J. H.
