TUDOR, REMUERA
“THE LATEST FROM PARIS” The most enjoyable comedy-drama ever made is the description applied to “The Latest From Paris,” starring Norma Shearer, now showing at the Tudor Cinema, Remuera. That the picture is considered one of the most delightful of its kind ever produced is due not only to the ability of Miss Shearer, bLit to all of the other ingredients which it contains. The story tells of a lady commercial traveller who completely outwits all the other travellers at their own game. The two best Jewish character actors on the screen, George Sidney and Tenen Holtz, were cast in the roles of the clothing wholesalers. As leading man Miss Shearer was given Ralph Forbes, who attracted much attention in his work as one of the brothers in “Beau Geste.” A strong vaudeville programme will be presented this evening. To-morrow evening the Tudor will present Adolphe Menjou’s latest picture, “Serenade,” the story of a young musical composer in Vienna.
