VOTE OF CONFIDENCE
DEPUTIES AND POINCARE (United I*.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association.) PARIS. Saturday. In the Chamber of Deputies to-day a vote of confidence in the Premier, M. Poincare, was carried by 455 votes to 166. Speaking in the House, M. Poincare said he refused to be captured by either the Right or the Left. He said he would govern with the help of those who approved the policy of the Government. He would not permit any artificial rise in prices. It had been decided to ask in future for fewer sacrifices from the workers and more from wealthy persons.
