BIG MAORI FILM CHANGE IN DIRECTORSHIP Mr. Alexander Marky. who lias been in charge of the production of Universal’s Maori picture, “Taranga,” at has been recalled to the United States. Mr. Lew Collins, who has been with Mr. Marky as assistant director, has assumed the directorship.

It had been hoped to finish production long before this, but wet weather proved a considerable drawback, and hampered the completion of “Taranga.” Although the picture is only half completed, over 28,000 feet of film has been shot. A
