CHINESE ROOM IN “THE SILENT HOUSE”

The Chinese room scene in “The Silent House,” now playing at His Majesty’s Theatre, is a beautiful piece of stage work. The joss, before which, in beautiful robes, Maurice Moscovitch makes his obeisance, is a gorgeous looking piece of work. Round the walls are curious bronze figures and wonderfully designed tapestries, the whole giving an admirable effect. . “The Silent House” is complete with almost every conceivable thrill.
