USE THIS VALUABLE RECIPE (By a Qualified Chemist) Mix 4 tablespoonsful of sugar, 3 of treacle, 2 of vinegar, and a large break - fastcupful of water. A very enjoyable programme had been arranged by Mrs. H. J. McMillan and Mrs. Stace, the convenor. The opening duet, Moskowski’s “Foreign Par's” (Germany) was played by Mrs. 11. Ferguson and Mrs. Sinclair. Miss Moule sang “The Song of Isis” and “Almond Blossoms.” Miss N. Valder chose Liszt's “Consolation” and Ibanez’s “Tango.” Miss L>. Clapham sang “Pastoral.” Mrs. Hubert Hammond’s selections were “Two Variations,” from Benjamin Bale’s “Sonata.” Mrs. A. English played "Spring Night,” by Liszt, and “Little Bird,” by Greig. Mrs. Shirley’s songs were “On Wings of Song’ and “Trees.” Mrs. C. Bennett chose “Sylvelin,” “The Boat Song.” and “June in Kentucky.” Miss B. Vickery gave Brahms’s “Mezzo.” Mrs. Hubert Hammond and Mrs. A- English were the accompanists for the singers. The members present were Mesdames Stace, H. J. McMullin, Furze, W. Ran stead, S. J.
