PRINCE EDWARD
ARGUS AND PICTURES Answering questions in sealed envelopes, and describing articles he cannot see, are only some of the things done every evening by “Argus,” now appearing at the Prince ."Edward Theatre. The wonderful powers of telepathy and clairvoyance possessed by “Argus” enable him to completely mystify the audience, but numbers of cases are reported where prophesies by “Argus” have been proved true. In addition, a pictorial programme is presented, headed by “Slightly Used,” an enjoyable comedy starring May McAvoy and Conrad Nagel. “Slightly Used” tells the trials of a girl who pretended she was the widow of a Major John Smith in Nicaragua. There was a Major Smith there, and he came along to see his “wife.” • West Point.” a story of life at the famous American military academy, will also be shown with Joan Crawford and William Haines in the leading roles.
