“AIR PATROL” AND MAORIS Dressed in the charming Maori costume, the troupe of Maori maids and warriors under Princess Te Puea, which has recently been entrancing Aucklanders, wili appear at the Edendale Theatre this evening. Canoe dances, liakas, songs and poi dances are given by this talented band, and an enjoyable and first-class entertainment provided. One of America’s best known stunt flyers, A 1 Wilson, is the star in "The Air Patrol,” which heads the pictorial side of the programme. The picture is a stark drama of air-men—-of diamond smuggling by airplanes, covered by an air patrol of secret service aviators. In the story Ai Langdon, a member of the Secret Service Air Patrol, lays a plot with his captain whereby he is discharged from the service under the supposition that he was drunk so that he might gain the confidence of Michael Hovere, the leader of a gang of diamond smugglers. In addition the powerful drama of life in the jungle, “Chang,” will be shown.
