NEW BRANCH OF REFORM LEAGUE
PUREWA P.W.D. EMPLOYEES Composed entirely of wage-earners, n branch of the New Zealand Political Reform League was formed at the Public Works Camp, Purewa, on Thursday. At its first meeting the branch unanimously passed the following resolution: “This first meeting of the Purewa Branch of the Reform League, wishes to place on record its appreciation of the Prime Minister’s excellent work in advancing the general interests of Public Works employees. Further we pledge our loyal support to the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, New Zealand’s first native-born elected Prime Minister.”
