PRODUCERS’ OUTCRY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association.) Reed. 9.5 a.m. VANCOUVER, Friday. Mr. Sherbrooke, attacking the Tariff Board recommendations of Mr. R. B. Bennett, the Conservative leader, declared that New Zealand butter was entering Canada, to the detriment of the home producers. \ The United States, on the other hand, protected the farmers against New Zealand. The United States Government legislated for and protected the farmers’ industries. “Why doesn’t Canada do likewise?” he asked. “Whom are we legislating for—the farmers of New Zealand?”
