As it is, communication with the South is not yet altogether clear. A tree over the lino at Rangiriri. in the Waikato, considerably interfered with the Auckland services. Trouble was also reported in connection with the Main Trunk lines. At Mt. Albert a tree across the wires interfered with communication with Helensville and the north.
