CAR STRIKES POLE

PASSENGER SLIGHTLY HURT When the motor-car in which he was travelling struck a telegraph pole in Hobson Street yesterday afternoon, Francis William Moran received slight head injuries. He was thrown forward, striking the windscreen. Mr. Moran, who is a married man of 47. was taken to the Auckland Hospital. He lives at 16 Beaconsfield Street, Grey Lynn. Little damage was done to the motor-car and the driver escaped without* injury.
