(From Our Own Correspo.ndent) NGARUAWAHIA, To-day. \\7HILE the paddle steamer Ra- ** whiti was proceeding up river this morning, the hinged funnel suddenly fell, jamming Frank Joyce, a deck-hand, in the hinge. He received serious spinal injuries and was taken to the Waikato Hospital.
