RUGBY SCORERS
STUART HEADS LIST R. HOOK CHIEF TRY-GETTER Most striking of the revelations made by the list of club scorers in the 44 games played to date is the continued superiority of kicking men over trygetters. Heading the list is a player who does a little of both, though relying mainly on his boot. Stuart, however, has not had so many opportunities for converting tries lately as in earlier matches. N. Jenkin arid Berridge, also kicking men. are only one and four points behind him respectively. R. Hook is the premier trygetter with his brother. L. Hook, and Minns well up in the list. Skelton and Heard, both all-rounders, also occupy prominent positions. So far. in the nine Saturdays of play, 192 tries have been registered, of which 79 have been converted, and over 50 penalties have been kicked.
