At a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union last night, the Mana-waiu-Horowhenua Union wrote advising that it was the wish of Manawhenua that the match on August IX be set down as a Ranfurly Shield game. The writers asked for confirmation of the challenge. This was agreed to.
