PRINCE EDWARD

ARGUS AND PICTURES “Argus,” the boy whose remarkable powers of telepathy and clairvoyance astound all who see him, will give a demonstration at the Prince Edward Theatre again this evening. Written questions on any kind of topic whatever are answered by him and many remarkable cases are known of answers that have been marvellously correct. This evening “Argus” will endeavour to foretell the advent of any future wars. A strong pictorial programme is also being presented at the theatre. From the gutter to the idol of Parisian society and back to the gutter again. Such is the fate of Pierre Boucheron in “The Triumph of the Rat,” the first picture. Boucheron is played by Ivan Novello,” the well-known British actor, who gives a remarka“ble performance. At the height of his popularity he is the lover of the beautiful Zelie de Chaumont. But he meets the Comtesse Madeleine de l’Orme, and immediately falls in love with her. Zelie taunts him so he wagers that within a month Madeleine will be in his arms. He wins his bet, but in revenge Zelie plots to send him to utter disgrace. The second attraction is an interesting story of a modern Robin Hood, entitled “Jesse James,” and starring Fred Thompson.
