EDENDALE
“DEARIE” AND “THE WIZARD” ' The Wizard,” a mystery story starring Edmund Lowe, will be shown this evening at the Edendale Theatre. Edmund Lowe gives the best performance of his career as the reporter who solves the strange mystery which hovers over the lives of Judge Webster and his daughter Anne, the latter played by Leila Hyams with fine artistry and sympathy. Mystery, thrills and suspense not to mention fine comedic situations, to relieve the strain of the dramatic moments in the picture, together with a fine cast of actors make this picture an entertainment of a superlative kind. The second feature is a story of New York night life, “Dearie,” starring Irene Rich.
Polly Moran and Marie Dressier, the famous comedy team of “The Callahans and the Murphys,” will shortly ho seen again in “Bringing Up Father,’ bused on the cartoon of that name.
