“OUTWARD BOUND”
LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY Mr. J. X>. Swan, who probably made the outstanding success of last season's activities when he played Kenneth Dowie, in Barrie's “Old Lady Shows Her Medals," will play Lingley in “Outward Bound,” that remarkable work by Sutton Vane, which will be presented by the Auckland Little Theatre Society, in the concert chamber. Town Hall, on July 5,6, 7 and 9. It is a very different character from that of the likeable Scot, Kenneth
Dowie, to the unlikeable Mr. Lingley, in “Outward Bound.” But Mr. Swan’s ability and stage sense will carry him through With flying colours. There is no sounder player .in the society, 'and members will watch with interest this player’s work in the next production.
