ELLERSLIE BOWLING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Ellers lie Bowling Club was presided over by M’. S. Somerfield. There was a large attendance of members. The election of officers resulted as follows. Patron, Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P : president. Mr. J. J. Toy: vice-presidents. Messrs. J. A. Godfrey. H. Arthur, J. M« - Kelvie; secretary and treasurer. Mr. W. Williams; committee, Messrs. J. Whit-. G. Plunkett, W. Gollan. J. M. CTosher. T. Joll. J. Ryan; match committee, Messrs. J. McKelvie, W. Gollan. H. Arthur; winter selectors, Messrs. W. Gollan. W. Williams. C. Ganley: grounds committee, Messrs. A. C. Hill. H. R. McKenzie. A. Coppins; coach. Mr. T. Dickson; press reporter. Mr. G. Plunkett; delegates to Auckland Centre. Messrs. J. J. Toy, W. Williams; auditor, Mr. J. McKelvie. Mr. W. Williams was elected a life member. A resolution was passed in favour of the continuance of daylight saving. Trophies for the various competitions were offered and accepted with thanks.
