(United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian P.A.—United Service) Reed, noon LONDON, Monday. The first test cricket match, England v. West Indies, was begun on Saturday at Lord’s. England batted first and had made 381 runs for eight wickets when stumps were drawn. E. Tyldesley made 122. England went on to-day and reached 491. Constantitne took four wickets for 82. West Indies in the first innings made 177. Jupp took four wickets for 37. The visitors followed on and lost six wickets for 55.
