DAIRY MANAGERS TO HOLD CONFERENCE

GRADING COMPETITIONS During winter show week the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association will hold a general conference, grading competitions, and a smoke concert. The grading competitions are to be held on the same lines as at the last Waikato winter show, on Thursday, July 12, at 9.30 a.m. in the Farmers’ Freezing Works, King’s wharf. A luncheon will be held at Hotel Auckland at 12.30 and the general conference will sit at 1.45. The director of the dairy division and Professors Peren and Riddet will give short addresses on dairy subjects. On Friday, July 13, at 10 a.m. the delegates will visit local manufactories, starting from the Central Wharf. At 2 p.m. there will be a motor drive and in the evening the Weddel Cup and Hardley Shield will be presented at a smoke concert.
