MAORI CHARITABLE AID
Assistance has been given in absolutely destitute cases among Maoris, says Mr. William Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, in reply to Te Akarana Mao.ri Association’s complaint regarding unjust discrimination between Maoris and Pakehas in the granting of charitable aid. A deputation is to wait upon the board in regard to this matter.
