THREE INJURED IN MOTOR ACCIDENTS

There were two motoring accidents in Auckland on Saturday afternoon. One of the victims, Mr. A. J. Cook, is in a fairly serious condition at the Auckland Hospital. Mr. Cook, who lives at 9 Blake Street, Avondale, was knocked d,own by a motor-car near bis home. He was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and his condition has improved only slightly. He is 55 years old. Through being knocked from his bicycle by a motor-cycle. Alan David Gilmour, a boy of 14, was taken to hospital suffering from slight head injuries and a fractured right arm. He lives at 27 Grange Road, Mount Eden. The motor-cycle was ridden by Mr. R. J. Vercoe, of 15 Brentwood Avenue, Mount Eden.
