FELL FROM TRAM

STEWARD INJURED Suffering from head injuries and a fractured left ankle, Arthur Whinester, a steward on board the Matangi, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Whinester fell as he was stepping from a moving tram at Onehunga. He was attended to by the St. John Ambulance before beingtaken to hospital. His condition this morning -was not serious. He is a married man of 42, and lives at 15 Captain Street, Onehunga.
