When the vessel left Darwin she had one white man and three Japanese on board, but when found on the beach she was empty. The police arc puzzled to knotv what nas happened to the crew, and a theory that they may have been muruered by blacks is being investigated. Bickerton Island, which is 100 square miles in area, has a great wealth of frepang and other marine produce.
