RETAIL PRICES ADVANCED An advance of one penny a pound in the local retail prices of factorybutter is announced by the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company. Ltd., and the Auckland Butter Factories’ Local Marketing Association. The rise takes effect from to-day The new retail prices are: First grade. Is Ud; second grade, Is Sd. The wholesale price is lid less in each case. The increase is in sympathy' with current London values. The last change was mode on June 18. when second grade rose from Is 6d to Is 7d. Prior to that there had been no change since March 19, when a rise of one penny was declared on both grades.
