STATEMENTS TO MANDATES COMMISSION DOMINION DELEGATES (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian P.A.—Un f ted Service) GENEVA, Thursday. At to-day’s sitting of tho Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, the late Administrator of - s amoa, Sir George Richardson, and the High Commissioner for Now Zealand, James Parr, attended. Each made a statement about the situation in Samoa. These statements amounted to a summary of the report of the Royal Commission. They dealt especially with the sale of copra by the Administration, which was undertaken owing to the low prices paid by traders, and a Jso with the application of the prohibition law, and with the methods used to influence the natives against the Administration. These methods included the use of figures which it wa s alleged showed extravagance in the Administration’s expenses compared with those of other islands. These Mr. E. W.
