Tb«r* is a big love interest. It is the epic of a Chinese mandarin’s long-song-revenge, and never has there be*'drawn such a realistic picture of Oriental cruelty, malign cunning and relentless evil. The locale of the sic" is in Aldgate, the Orient of Lon&: Maurice Moscovitch plays the role Dr. Chang-fu, a mysterious, dignifcOriental high official whose cobb& and relentless ways of destroying enemies are astounding. A most likable character in the play is Ho played by Nat Madison, a little yellow fiend, but who perforrt many of the morals of the play. BoT Barry, making his first appearar with the Company as Captain Barty*, provides some quaint huxnoE. The hero of the play is Captain Geo*?' Warnsford, played by Reginald V’' son. The villains are George Bias Benson, Guy Hastings as KvsrAshton Jarry as Sinon Taor and Richard Webster as Mateo, PaCurwen plays Jacob Herrington. the loveable part of Tmala is P*V by Bertha Riccardo.
