CARPENTER HURT

SEVERE HEAD INJURIES A carpenter, R. Docherty, was struck on the head this morning while working at a building for Milk Products, Ltd., at Judge’s Bay Road, Parnell. First aid was given by a member of the St. John Ambulance, who was also working there, and the injured man was later taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, suffering from severe head injuries. Mr. Docherty, who is a single man of 36, lives in Surrey Street, Grey Lynn.
