MEETING OF EXECUTIVE
THISTLE CUP COMPETITION At a meeting of the Auckland Rugby League held last evening, Mr. G. Rhodes presiding, a letter from a committee organised in the North confirmed the fact that the League game would be played at Hikurangi. Competition for the Thistle Cup will commence on Saturday. The trophy will be allotted to the teams scoring the most number of championship points in the second round of both A and B sections. Should two teams tie, the side scoring the most points shall be declared the winner. The transfer of .1. E. Amos, of the Addington Club. Christchurch, to City Club, was referred to the New Zealand Council for confirmation. The Otago League advised that its representative team would play at South Auckland on September 12, and at Auckland on September 15.
