EMPIRE

“TRIUMPH OF THE RAT” "The Triumph of the Rat” will be shown to-night at the Empire Theatre. “The Triumph of the Rat,” a sequel to the now famous picture “The Rat,” is being portrayed by a distinguished cast, headed by Ivor Novello, the wellknown English actor, who is supported by Isabel Jeans and many others. The picture is recommended by the Censor more especially for adult audiences. “A Trick of Hearts,” Hoot Gibson’s latest picture, will also be shown. “The Ringer” and “The Terror,” two Edgar Wallace thrillers recently staged here by Maurice Moscovitch and Company. are said to be out-thrilled in the new play, “The Silent House.”
