DAIRY BOARD’S REPORT Under date June 15, the London office of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Control Board cabled as follows. Prices for the previous week are given in parentheses : Butter New Zealand: Finest salted, 172 s to 174 s a cwt (168 s to 1725); unsalted. 17Gs to ISOs; exceptional. 184 s (174 s to l<6s). New Zealand deliveries this week, 989 tons; in store this week. 4,000 tons. Australian: Finest salted, 160 s to 164 s (15Ss to 1625); unsalted, 162 s to 166 s (160 s to 1645). Argentine: Finest unsalted, 158 s to 160 s (156 s to 160 s). Irish creamery: Unsalted, 168 s to 170 s (16Ss to 170 s). Danish: Spot, 170 s to 172 s (170 s to 1725); f.0.b., 164 s (1655). Dutch creamery: Unsalted, 164 s to 166 s (160 s to 1645). French, baskets: Salted and unsalted, 140 s to 154 s (144 s to 160 s). Estonian: Salted, 162 s to 164 s (15Ss to 1635); unsalted, 165 s to 166 s (164 sto 1665). Latvian: 162 s (158 s to 160 s). Siberian: 152 s to 154 s (152 s to 1545). Ukrainian: 156 s to 158 s (166 s to 158 s). Polish: 150 s to 158 s (1565). Market firm. Retail prices, New Zealand and Danish, Is Sd. Cheese New Zealand: White and coloured, 101 s lo 102 s; exceptional, 103 s (99s to 100 s). New Zealand deliveries this week, 26,000 crates: in store this week, 67.000 crates. Canadian: Finest white, old season, 112 s to 114 s (112 s to 116 s); new, 97s to 100 s; coloured, old season, 110 s to 112 s (IOSs to 112 s): new, 96s to 100 s. Australian: Coloured, 97s to 100 s (96s to 975). English: Finest farmers', 11 Ss to 120 s. Market film. Retil prices unchanged. ShiDping Movements The Devon completed discharge of butter on June 13, and the Westmoreland on June 12. The Remuera completed discharge of cheese on June 8 and commenced discharge of butter on June 12. Steamers arrived this week are; Port Napier, commenced discharging butter on June 12; Port Victor, commenced discharging cheese on June 11 and completed on June 13. North American Market The board has also received advice from its agents in Canada, as follows: Butter: San Francisco, 43 cents (Is OAd); Vancouver, flush season exhausted New Zealand supplies; Canadian firsts, 36i cents (Is 6Jd): seconds, 35 cents (Is 7id; New York, 443 cents (Is 10 3-8 d). Joseph Nathan and Company report receipt of the following cable from their London principals: Butter, 1765; cheese, 103 s to 104 s; both markets firm.

Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Official returns issued by the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board show that the total shipments of butter for the 10 months from August 1, 1927, to May 31, 1928, have inci'eased by 157,659 boxes, and that the cheese increase is 37,738 crates. . Export figures for the 10 months afford the following comparison: Butter. —Boxes this season, 2,626,626; last season, 2,469,057 —increase, 157,569. Cheese. —Crates this season, 926,469; last season, 888,731 —increase, 37,738.
