SOUTH-WEST AMERICA FEARFUL TORNADOES (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian P.A.—United Service) NEW YORK, Sunday. A message from Kansas City says the South-western States are threatened by steadily increasing floods following upon heavy rain and tornadoes. Four persons were killed and many were injured. At Blair and Headrick, Oklahoma, numerous homes were demolished, but most of the residents had taken refuge in their cellars and were saved. Crops were destroyed and live stock killed. Relief workers are being rushed to the devastated areas to aid the homeless and attempt ..to check the rising rivers.
