Rowing men in Blenheim express surprise at the reference in a Vancouver cablegram to a man named Knox, who claims to be the New Zealand sculling champion. The recognised New Zealand professional champion is J. P. Hannan, of Picton, and the amateur champion is George Jackson, formerly of Picton, now of Wanganui
