CROQUET
MANGERE EAST CLUB There was a large attendance of members of the Mangere East Croquet Club at the annual meeting of the club, held in the pavilion last week. The president, Mrs. W. Knight, presided. The balance sheet disclosed a very satisfactory financial position. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mrs. W. Knight; vice-president, Mrs. Solomon; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mrs. G. Laslett; assistant secretary, Mrs. Burrett; committee, Mesdames Tait, W. W. Massey, Dunn, Kerr, Ellison, House, Henwood: match committee, Mesdames Tait, Chapman, Burrett, Knight; auditor, Mr. J. Tait; hon. life member, Mr. A. Newson.
