YOUTH’S THIRD OFFENCE BORSTAL TERM IMPOSED Having broken his probation for a second time, Robert George Anderson, aged 19. when he appeared at the Police Court to-day was sen. tenced to two years’ detention in the Borstal Institute. Anderson pleaded guilty to two charges of converting motor-cars to his own use. Chief-Detective Hammond said thr.t accused had taken the first car for a few hours, and left it in the city. The second car was taken on a tour of the countryside, and was found in accused’s possession. The Probation Officer said that accused was on probation for theft, and that probation was extended in uary, when accused was charged with converting a motor-cycle to his own use.

On the Probation Officer’s recommendation, Anderson was sent to tiie Borstal.
