UNIVERSITY DEBATE
PROHIBITION IN U.S.A. “That the American policy of Prohibition is desirable,” is the title of the subject to be debated at the Town Hall this evening. The affirmative will be taken by three debaters from the Auckland University College and they will be opposed by a team of debaters recently arrived from America, comprising students from Bates University College, in the State of Maine, U.S.A. A keenly contested debate is anticipated.-
