“SALT OF THE EARTH”

Mr. Crozier said at the Church of Christ, Ponsonby Road, yesterday, preaching from the text, “Ye are the salt of the earth.” that the salt which is in the sea preserves it from becoming a cesspool, so in like manner i ’hristianity in the world is the preserving power. Men are looking for that which is to heal the sores of the world, and it is as professing Christians reveal in their lives the source from which this healing comes, that the wounds of the world are healed and Christ Jesus comes into His own.
