MAN SHOT DEAD THROUGH WINDOW
FIXING RADIO SET WIFE PRESENT IN ROOM (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.5 a.m. NEWCASTLE, To-day. A mysterious murder has been committed near Stockton, in the vicinity of the shipwreck of the White Bay and the Uralla. Richard Moxey, aged 34, was shot dead while adjusting his radio set. The murderer fired though a window in the darkness, and then decamped. His motive has not been disclosed. Moxey’s wife and a youth, Arthur Fullarton, were in the room when the murder occurred. The police expect to make an arrest to-day.
