Luvan is putting a lot of energy into her work, and A. Julian has the mare in good trim, and she should strip well next week-end. When under way she still shows an inclination to hitch, but in a recent work-out the Lulu Boy mare got to the end of a solid 12 furlongs without making a mistake. Nelson McCormack, in the same stable, is showing a lot of dash over a short journey, and on Thursday morning, with two companions, he ran a mile in pleasing style.
