ABOUT COMMENDATION
IfANY and varied have been AML the reports which have appeared in some papers concerning the movements of Commendation, but inquiry a fortnight ago elicited the information that no word had been received by his trainer. A still later report stated that he was due to rejoin the active ranks last week, but he is still numbered among the absent. Commendation has yet to be seen at Awapuni.
