A SUNNY DAY GAME

You can only play this game when the sun is shining, because it is a game of shadows. One player is made “he,” and instead of having to catch you he has to catch your shadow and jump on it. As soon as he has done that, you must take your turn of being “he.” It sounds a very easy game but just wait until you try it. It is much harder trying to get rid of youi shadow than you imagine, especially when the rays of the sun and the manner in which you run seem to make it extend to a very great length. But I will let you into a secret. Oije clever way of dodging “he” is to run near a wall, so that your shadow creeps along that. “He” cannot manage to jump on that, can he?
