REV. DR. YATES’S VISIT

WELL-KNOWN PREACHER The Rev. Dr. Thomas Yates, exchairman of the Congregational Church of England and Wales, arrived in Auckland yesterday after a visit to Rotorua. He will preach to-morrow morning at the Beresford Street Church ,his sermon being broadcast by Station IYA. In the evening he will conduct the service at the Mount Eden Congregational Church. On Monday Dr. Yates will confer with office-bearers of the church at a luncheon. He leaves on Tuesday for Melbourne, where he will be in charge of the Collins Street Independent Church for four months.
