UNLAWFUL OPENING VISITORS HAVE TO PAY £1 (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANG ARE I, To-day. A charge of opening his hotel for the sale of liquor after hours was preferred against Hayward Charles Subritsky, licensee of the Mangawai Hotel, in the Maungaturoto Police Court before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., yesterday. He was fined £lO and two other charges were withdrawn. Five persons who were found in the hotel were each fined 20s and costs, for being illegally on the premises.
