BURNED TO DEATH
INQUEST AT WAIROA Press Association. WAIROA, Friday. At the inquest into the death of Michael Maloney, a verdict was returned that he met his death from burns accidentally received while engaged painting the inside of a pipe-line at the Waikaremoana hydro-electric works. A benzine lamp was upset while Maloney was painting the inside of the pipe-line, and the paint caught fire. He was severely burned, and died in hospital.
