The police made no objection today when William Wolland, jun., who was fined in 1926 and had his licence suspended for three years, for being intoxicated while in charge of a car. sought remissio nof the remainder of the term. It was said that he had not touched liquor and was in steady employment by his father. He was industrious but was handicapped by not being allowed to drive a van. The magistrate took the action desired.
