The estimates were presented to the City Council last evening, though the discussion was adjourned. Among the items were the following: Salaries, allowances and clerical assistance at the Town Hall eat up £27,500. A sum of £12,500 is set down as the expenditure on traffic control and collection of licenses. * * # Special works under the Parks Committee will absorb the following amounts: Tennis courts at Domain, £300; Domain fernery, £2,500; Domain palm house, £1,000; Grey Lynn Park.
